ANGAMALY: Mor Philoxenos Mathiyas Nayis, the Patriarchal representative accompanied by a group from the Patriarchate of Antioch and All the East will visit the Mor Sabore Afroth Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Simhasana Valiyapally, Thuruthissery on 24th November 2011. The group will be accorded a warm reception at the Church premises by H.G. Dr. Mor Athanasius Alias Metropolitan, the resident Metropolitan and the Vicar Fr. Alias Ipe Parackal. The Simhasana Church at Thuruthissery has been elevated to the Title “VALIYAPALLY”by the Patriarch of Antioch Moran Mor Ignatius Zakka I Iwas, issuing a special kalpana which was read on the auspicious occasion of the Holy Consecration Ceremony of the re-constructed church on 23rd September, 2011.
