International Syriac Medical Association (ISMA) Medical Camp started at Idukki

DAMASCUS/IDUKKI: The Medical Camp organised by The International Syriac Medical Association (ISMA), started at Idukki on Wednesday. His Holiness Patriarch Ignatius Zakka I Iwas started this Association of Doctors, Nurses and other Medical Professionals in 2010 to help the poor people around the world. ISMA has activities in more than 80 countries now. The camp concludes on 15th Dec. The Association consists of around 1500 Doctors, Surgeons, Nurses and Other Medicos around the globe. Smt. Jessy Thuruthummel of St. Peter's & St. Paul's JSO Church, Kizhakkambalam is the Coordinator for India. Many of the edicos from Malankara are already members of this Association.
