BANGALORE: Bangalore Diocean council held at St. Mary's JSO Cathedral, Queens Road. Meeting was presided over by H.B Catholicose Baselious Thomas 1st. Asst. Metropolitan of Bangalore Diocese H.G Pathrose Mor Osthathiose, H.G Geevarghese Mor Coorilose & H.G Mathews Mor Aprem was present for the meeting. Very Rev. Fr. Kuriakose Corepiscopa, Very Rev. Fr. Roy Abraham Kochattu Corepiscopa, Diocean Priest Secretry Rev. Fr. Kuriakose Punnachalil, Rev fr. Jerry Kurian, Rev. Fr. Jacob Joseph, Rev. fr. Prince Kalloor, rev. Fr. Geevarghese Pulayath, Rev. fr. Varghese Chenganattu, Rev. Fr. Paulose Mangalath, Rev. Fr. John Ipe & Rev. Fr. Eldho John were present for the meeting. 83rd Birthday of H.B Catholicose Baselious Thomas 1st was celebrated during the occasion.
Apart from priest all the diocean council members also were present there. As per the Holy synod Decision H.B bava appointed H.G Pathrose Mor Osthathiose as the Metrapolitian of Bangalore Diocese. Steps have been taken to start the Diocean office in the centre of the city and to start new congregations & churches in different parts of Bangalore where we don't have service now. Council has identified Mysore as a place where service has to be started at the earliest and steps have been taken in this regard.
