JAIPUR: Shri Ignatius Abraham, member of Mor Gregorios JSO Church, Jaipur is awarded PhD in Chemistry from University of Rajasthan. He has done his studies under the supervision of Dr. R T Pardasani. He was working as Senior Research Fellow (CSIR) in the Dept of Chemistry in the university. The title of the thesis is “Synthetic and Theoretical Studies on the Photocycloaddition Reactions of 1,4-Benzoquinones”. Research work constitutes the areas of Synthetic Organic Chemistry, Photochemistry and computational chemistry. So far he has published 6 research papers. Dr. Ignatius' home parish is Mor Ignatius Noorono JSO Simhasana Church, Mekkadampu, Muvattupuzha. Currently, he serves the church as the Council Member of Delhi Diocese, Joint Secretary of Jaipur Church, Organiser of Viswasasamrakshakan.
